Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Dan Tech Academy ("the website", "our services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use our services.

Description of Services

Dan Tech Academy, operated by Tran Huu Danh (individual/sole proprietor, Vietnam), provides:

• Technical Blog - Articles and tutorials on Android development, AWS, and software engineering
• Online Courses - Premium e-learning content (e.g., Mobile Action Pro)
• User Accounts - Personalized experience with course progress tracking
• Community Features - Blog comments via Giscus (GitHub-based)

User Accounts

Account Creation

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain only one account per person
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Be at least 13 years of age

Account Security

You are responsible for:

• All activity under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
• Not sharing account credentials with others

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

Account Deletion

• You may request account deletion via email
• Course access is revoked upon deletion
• Transaction records are retained for 3 years per Vietnam law

Course Access & Licensing

Purchase Terms

• One-time purchase grants lifetime access to the course
• Access is personal and non-transferable
• Payment via VietQR bank transfer (processed by SePay)
• Prices are displayed in Vietnamese Dong (VND) and include applicable taxes
• Order confirmed automatically upon payment verification

What You Receive

Upon purchase, you get access to:

• All course video lessons and written materials
• GitHub repository access (if applicable to the course)
• Future updates to the purchased course content
• Community support channels

Restrictions on Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Redistribute, resell, or share course content
• Record, download, or screen-capture lessons for redistribution
• Use course content for commercial training without written permission
• Reverse engineer downloadable materials
• Attempt to access courses you haven't purchased

Access Revocation

We may revoke your course access if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in content piracy or unauthorized redistribution
• Share login credentials with others
• Attempt to circumvent access controls

Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility

Each course has its own refund window (typically 7 or 30 days, displayed at checkout). You may request a refund within this window if the course does not meet your expectations.

Service Level Agreement

• Review: We respond to all refund requests within 48 hours
• Payout: Approved refunds are paid within 5 business days via the original payment method (SePay/bank transfer)
• Tracking: Check your refund status anytime in My Orders (/profile/orders)

How to Request

1. Sign in to your account
2. Go to My Orders (/profile/orders)
3. Click "Request Refund" on the eligible item
4. Provide a brief reason

Limitations

• Refund window starts from the order completion date
• One active refund request per order item
• Refund is processed for the full course price (no partial refunds)
• Affiliate commissions are reversed when a refund is processed
• After refund, course access is revoked and any GitHub repository access is removed

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on Dan Tech Academy is owned by Dan Tech Academy and protected under Vietnam Copyright Law and international agreements:

• Video lessons and course materials
• Written tutorials and articles
• Code examples and project templates
• Graphics, images, and design elements
• Course structure and curriculum
• Logos and branding

Code Examples Usage

User-Generated Content

If you submit content (comments, reviews, feedback):

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant us a non-exclusive license to display and moderate it
• You warrant it doesn't infringe third-party rights
• We may remove content that violates our guidelines

Copyright Claims

To report copyright violations:

• We respond within 72 hours
• Repeat infringers will be permanently banned

Payment Terms

Pricing

• All prices in Vietnamese Dong (VND)
• Prices include VAT where applicable
• We may change prices with 30-day notice
• Existing purchases unaffected by price changes

Payment Methods

• VietQR bank transfer via SePay
• Order confirmed upon payment verification
• Receipt sent to your registered email

Coupons & Discounts

• One coupon code per order
• Cannot combine coupons unless explicitly stated
• Promotional codes have expiration dates
• Invalid or expired codes are non-refundable

Failed or Expired Payments

• Unpaid orders expire after 24 hours
• You must create a new order to retry payment

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use services for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack, probe, or compromise our systems
• Scrape, collect, or harvest user data
• Impersonate other users or staff
• Upload malicious code or content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Spam or post unauthorized advertisements
• Circumvent access controls or payment systems
• Use bots or automated tools to access content

Educational Content

• Content is for educational purposes only
• We do not guarantee specific career or income outcomes
• Technology evolves; content may become outdated
• Always test code in your own environment before production use
• Our content is not professional, legal, or financial advice

Third-Party Links

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Vietnam law:

Termination

• No partial refunds for remaining course access

By Us

• We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• We may terminate service with 30-day notice for any reason
• If we terminate without cause, we may provide prorated refunds at our discretion

After Termination

• You lose access to all premium content
• Account data deleted (except records required by law)
• Surviving provisions: IP rights, liability limitations, indemnification

Governing Law & Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam
• Disputes shall be resolved in Vietnamese courts
• Before legal action, parties must attempt informal resolution for 30 days

General Provisions

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dan Tech Academy.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment

We may assign our rights; you may not assign without our written consent.
